No LAN access w/ VPN client software

I have a small LAN. One machine (B) uses the Cisco VPN v4.0.2(D) client software to connect to a government client.

When this VPN is active, the machine can't see or be seen by other LAN machines. This makes using my backup software impossible because the master server on machine A cant see the backup client software on machine B.

I have tried enabling "local LAN access" in the VPN client as well as installing a second NIC card.

How can I let machine B see the LAN while the VPN client is running?

Re: No LAN access w/ VPN client software

It is up to them to enable split tunnelling on their vpn head end device for their vpn clients (in your case, machine B) to have local lan access. otherwise, tell your user to disconnect the vpn
