NonTech. VPN user - need help connecting

In the workplace no problems testing/using Cisco VPN Client.

When in home office, VPN will not connect. I've worked in house/and with ISP help desks.

Are there specific settings that are needed for the Att/SBC ISP? are there specific network settings to use on work computer, home PC/modem?

Also, is there a checklist anywhere that covers all areas of hardware/software that a user of VPN Client can use to troubleshoot?

Or does anyone know of problems with SBC/ATT ISP and using Cisco VPN Client software? Thanks.

Re: NonTech. VPN user - need help connecting

Edwards,

What is the version of VPN Client and what is the server that is terminating the IPSEC Session.

Do you have any logs from the VPN Client and VPN Server, when the user is having issues. Is the user not able to connect at all or is the user able to connect but not able to pass traffic.

Is the user behind a NAT/PAT Device. If so, have you configured NAT Transparency. Please refer the below URL for details:
