NSDB update for sensor appliance IDM

I just did the sig update for 3.1(2)S27 on my 4230 sensor. It doesn't appear that the NSDB on the sensor itself was updated, i.e., the signatures that the IDM points to when managing the signatures on the sensor. Newer signatures are not listed, and the last update of files in the directory is May. What's the best way to update the local copy of NSDB so that the IDM points to current signature description data?

Re: NSDB update for sensor appliance IDM

Unfortunately the current signature updates do not update the NSDB on the actual sensor.

If you'd like to manually do it you could download the CSPM package and unzip it into the sensor's NSDB directory:

/usr/nr/idsRoot/htdocs/protected/nsdb/html

The signature update script will be changed to update the NSDB automatically in the near future.
