Hi,
Does anobody as laready suceed in configuring the NTP daemon on the 4230. I would like to synchronise whith my whole network and have accurate event logging.

I dont see any mention in the docs. You might call your Cisco rep on this one.

NTP is not officially supported by Cisco for the sensor appliances at this time (is being considered for a future version).
However, the NTP code is loaded on the sensor appliances, and some user have chosen to enable this.
Many users have successfully implemented NTP with their sensors, but have done so on their own. TAC will not support implementing NTP or troubleshoot any issues being caused by NTP.
The IDS Module receives it's time directly from the switch whihc does support NTP. So for the IDSM, NTP is supported through the Cat 6000.
