Old PC-based PIX flash upgrade!?

Peoples,

got an *old* PC based PIX (PIX-520?) which is already maxed out at 128 meg DRAM, but only has 2 meg of flash. We want to upgrade the flash, so that we can upgrade the OS (already at the highest that it can go to). Any idea who would have the flash, is it possible to upgrade the flash on these, etc etc?

Here is part of the sh ver :

Re: Old PC-based PIX flash upgrade!?

There is no service replacement flash upgrade for the older PIX’s. If you have a service contract on your PIX with Cisco, they’ll probably take care of you if you are running into a bug or needing a new feature your older PIX doesn’t support.

I have the same model. I am going to buy a Cisco 16 MB Flashcard for about $700, sorry I don't have a part number.

The part number is

PIX-FLASH-16MB=

This will permit the pix to run the latest version of code.
