Optimize Domain Logon for VPN Connection

I'm looking for ways to optimize domain logons for my Cisco VPN clients.

My domain is Windows 2000 Active Directory and the clients are running XP Pro SP2 with the 4.8.00.0440 VPN Client.

I'm using a PIX515 for VPN access.

Thanks, Ed Ireland

URT?

Is it PIXv6 or v7?

for v6 you've got RADIUS or TACACS+. I've often seen it done with RADIUS service running on the DC.

Or in v7 you can use other protocols - kerberos, ldap, nt, radius, sdi, or tacacs+.
