Oracle server behind a firewall

Has anyone placed an Oracle server behind a firewall, and successfully made Oracle server port redirection work? Is this possible?

Hi,

I didn't try it before, but there is a fixup protocol for sqlnet.

fixup protocol sqlnet 1521

Please make sure that the correct port is specified in the command. Something an other port is used for the sqlnet protocol. If that is the case, you will have to change the port in the fixup command.
