OSPF + State Maintenance on Two Firewalls

I want to have two firewalls at two different geographical locations to maintain reachability to connected networks via OSPF. No failover. I also want them to maintain the states of all in/outbound connections. In my case, the two firewalls have enough bandwidth between them to exchange this data.

As a result, asymmetric routing or failure of one of the firewalls should be transparent to the users.

Please let me know how to get this done using PIX FWs.

Thanks.

Asymetric routing is not supported as of yet. if a packet leaves one firewall and come back to other firewall it will be dropped.

Is there any plan to support this in the near future?

Thanks.

Does PIX support active/active configuration for failover. That is both PIXes are active, when one fails, the other takes all the load.

Thanks.
