Outlook client not refreshing VPN 3000 client Pix 515R 6.1

Hi,

I am using the VPN 3000 client and a PIX 515R 6.1.

When mail is sent the outbox does not show the mail as having left the outbox until refresh is pressed.

Any help would be gratefuly appreciated.

Hi Charlie

There have been some known issues regarding Outlook and automatic updates, but they should be resolved by now.

Make sure you are using the latest client, and have Outlook set as your default email client.

Hi,

Yes the VPN client is the latest as of mid December. Outlook is the default client.

Outlook send and recieves fine, it just does not refresh the outbox unless you do it manualy. So sent mails are shown in the outbox after they have gone??

Any help would be appreciated.

In the log viewer, turn on all logging, and set all levels to HIGH. Then connect, and have a look at what MAPI32 will tell you ..

Make sure "Scheduled Send and recieve" is turned of. What speeds are they connecting at? I have encountered a slow refresh of the Outbox over dial up and wireless connections as well
