PAT outside interface

Just want your opinion, is it ok to PAT outside interface of the pix, assume that inside ip 192.168.1.1 ,the outside ip is private 10.1.1.2 and then it route to the router inside 10.1.1.1, then the router PAT it again to public ip x.x.x.161, it seems to work fine. and vpn also can be establish.

inside 192.168.1.1--->outside 10.1.1.2--->x.x.x.161
