Re: PAT performance

The Static command only lets you map 1 local to 1 global address, or a network. If you want to map 1 local to 2 global addresses, you can not use the PIX for this at this moment. The translations in the PIX are one-to-one. I assume that you want to translate always to the same 2 global addresses.

Re: PAT performance

Hello,

I don't use static command, i use nat command with PAT.

global 1 193.95.116.12

nat (outside) 1 10.1.1.1 255.255.255.255 0 0 (proxy internet)

if i use :

global 1 193.95.116.0 255.255.255.240

nat (outside) 1 10.1.1.1 255.255.255.255 0 0 (proxy internet)

is this more performant than the first configuration ?

Thanks
