I know the limits of the 3600 series routers inrelation to flash memory (simm and pcmcia). My question is this: Can I put a 128MB PCMCIA flash card in a 3640, for example, and use up to the limit of the 3640. I realize I will waste the rest.
As pointed out by you, the Cisco 3640 can support a PCMCIA of the size 4 to 32 MB. 32 MB cards are not available...so you are stuck with 16. We tried using a 128MB PCMCIA some time ago but that didn't work for us. You could also refer to the document 3600 Series Memory Options at http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/routers/ps274/prod_bulletin09186a0080091f70.html
