PDM Fails to Install

Hi,

When installing PDM (pdm-304.bin) on my PIX 515E Ver. 6.3, the PIX returns me the following message:

Erasing current PDM file

Writing new PDM file

Not a PDM file

Erasing partial PDM file

PDM file not installed.

Although I made sure that the file I'm installing is the correct one and the file transfer was completed successfully, the PDM is not installed on my PIX. Can someone assist me on understanding the cause of the "Not a PDM file" error message, and on how to solve this problem?

hi,

may be the file is not downloaded correctly. try downloading again,

i am sure you are trying this

copy tftp flash:pdm
