I have a PIX with 3 interfaces. I have a router on the inside network connecting 193.0.2.0 and 10.10.0.0 network. What I tring to do is have the 10.10.0.0 ping the dmz 192.168.0.0. I can ping the dmz network from the router ,but cannot ping from within the 10.10.0.0 or DMZ network. Can anyone please help.

Hi,

Your explanations are not defining completely your problem, but here are some issues that can be involved in your problem. Without configurations of router and PIX it'a not easy to aswer.

First you have to check if routes and Nat rules are ok for 10.10.X.X network, in your PIX. Also, don't remember that a Pix without valid translation rule never forward a packet.

If there are more routers, is the router you're talking about the default gateway for the two internal networks? You can try an extended ping from your router with the 10.10.router.router address of source address. If it's ok, it could just be a DG problem.

Question, are your two internal subnets on the same broadcast domain?
