PIx - 2 IP addresses on outside interface

Is it possible to assign 2 x public IP addresses on the outside interface of a PIX 515E? We have a routing issue that means we can't get to the current address from a remote site, but we can get to another IP address on the same subnet as the PIX currently is.

Re: PIx - 2 IP addresses on outside interface

Hi,

If your intention is to do the same just like the router interface (i.e primary & sec IP on FastE), the answer is no. PIX does not support dual IP (primary & secondary) setup on any of its interface.

Cheers!
