I keep getting this error when trying to setup a PPTP connection to a server outside our network. The error says the PIX failed to create a regular translation for GRE. I have ACLs that permit both PPTP and GRE to the outside server. I also have a NAT statement for my private network that is linked to a GLOBAL statement saying to NAT anything going to the Internet. All other protocols translate and work just fine. My client starts a PPTP session and I see traffic being NAT'd just fine and then my client tries to initiate a GRE tunnel. This is where everything goes kaboom. I see the private address hit my inside interface, but never come out translated on my outside interface. The config looks like it should work just fine, but I keep getting the above error message. I'm pulling my hair out. Any suggestions?
