One of my customers is under the select process to buy a firewall security solution for his company. One of the products they're thinking to adquire is a PIX 501, but we need to know before if PIX 501 is capable to support the next question :
The client company has to different DSL connection ways to Internet (each one with one fixed public IP address from two different networks) each connection has it's own DSL router from the telephone company (two 3COM 912). The client wants to put the PIX between Internal/DMZ networks and the two DSL links, and make different uses for every DSL connections, one for terminal and applic data, and the other for web, e-mail, ...
Is the PIX capable of route traffic to/from one of the DSL's in case of src/dst IP adresses and src/dst ports ???
Thanks for all
