I will like to use the pix dhcp (on the inside) to deliver the same IP address to the same PC every time. eg. registering the mac address of the PC. This becaouse I only what that specifik host to be able to go over the L2L VPN, this is in a SOHO setup.
Unfortunately, there is no way in the PIX DHCP config to configure a static entry for a host. Workarounds would be to either configure the host in question statically on the NIC card or use another DHCP server (IOS DHCP can do this). The PIX DHCP functionality was meant to be a simple way to assign addresses to hosts in a SOHO environment and therefore is not very feature rich (as you can see). Sorry for the news but I hope this helps.
