PIX 501, individual user authentication

One of the really beneficial features of the VPN 3000 series is the Individual User Authentication (IUA) feature on the 3002 HW client that can be exercised by a VPN 3000 series concentrator.

Is the IUA feature supported by other EZVPN client platforms like a PIX 501 SOHO firewall in junction with VPN 3005 Concentrator( EZVPN server)?

Any sample or white paper?

Thanks a lot!

Re: PIX 501, individual user authentication

PIX v6.3 code introduced SUA/IUA features into the EzVPN client functionality on the PIX platform. It still needs to be configured centrally, but the PIX does support it.

See http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/iaabu/pix/pix_sw/v_63/63rnotes/pixrn63.htm#67805 for details.
