PIX 501, PAT w/inbound FTP

I have a PIX 501 running ver. 6.3 and I want to allow inbound connections to reach my internal FTP server. I have PAT configured, so I cannot configure static mappings from outside to inside. Conduits are no longer supported in ver. 6.3. How can I allow ftp clients to login to my server? Do I just use ACLs only?
