Pix 501 with DMZ

How can I include a dmz on Pix 501 firewall? Tks.

The PIX 501 does not support VLANs and do not have a third phusical interface. So you cannot have a DMZ with this device.

It is possible to do NAT or Port forwarding to access a Server or PC from the Internet but this devices are not physicly separated from the other PCs and what might be a risk if you get hacked.

assuming budget is one of the management concerns, a workaround is to deploy two pix501 in order to create a dmz.

e.g.

www <--> pix 501 <--> dmz <--> pix 501 <--> inside
