Having problems getting routes to my internal network through my 506 pix. If I add the route on the pptp client pc then I can connect to services within my internal network. WIth the same clients I can connect to my corp office through a 515pix and receive the proper routing info for that internal network without manually changing anything. Both PIX PPTP configs are using different network numbers for pptp pool and both have acls configured correctly. Any idea why my routing info is not being updated when connecting to my 506?
My internal network is directly connected to the pix and have no problems talking to it. It is my remote access VPN clients that have the routing issue. Once I add a static route to the Remote Access PPTP client then they are able to get connected to the internal network. We they connect they are authenticated but cannot conenct to any clients on the internal network. I was thinking more in line of the perimeter router that connects our PIX to the internet not forwarding GRE? to and fro the pix? Make sense?
