I have installed PIX-515E machine separating Unysis servers and its clients. ( PIX v 6.2)
Some clients are using Infoconnect services from Unisys, to access server facilities.
Among them, some clients fail to connect with the server. Only the infoconnect application will fail at his moment, but all other ( telnet, ping) are working fine at the same clinet machine with the server.
I have changed rules to permit any but still there is no improvement, but we have to change the client IP address to make the conection again.
We cannot reset the firewall as it will disturb all other live connections.
Using packet trace it is confirmed that the incoming TCP SYN packets form the client are not passing though the firewall for this "bad" IP address.
"Show tcp connection" has no diffarance with those "good" connections and "bad" connections.
Login to the FXOS chassis manager.
Direct your browser to https://hostname/, and log-in using the user-name and password.
