I have a 262o router with 1 T1 line as my primary and 1 wic-1enet as my backup connection. both setups have sep ip networks. My pix is setup to work with my primary T1 connection. Is it possible to static map inside outside ip's from the secondary network if the pix hasn't got an ip physically on that net? what else can I do if not?

you can have static mappings even if the "Inside" IP is from a different subnet than PIX's.

Use

static (inside, outside) netmask 255.255.255.255

what if the global ip is on a diferent network as the outside interface?

I haven't tested that. But i would guess it won't work ? Unless someone knows how to make that work.
