Hello to all the specialists
I have pix firewall (515 with ver 5.2)
I need to know how I can connect with secure remote
To the pix while the client is sitting on nat network
(For example adsl network or a hotel)
I have the old vpn program safe net and it doesnt work with nat only with
Real ip
I know that the pix bios is old and the secure remote also
I just want to know if upgrading to higher versions can resolve this problem or I have to add something else (like vpn box etc.)
Any comment or idea would be helpful
Thank you in advance

Currently you can't connect a VPN client (any of our clients) to the PIX through a NAT'd connection, unless that connection happens to be a one-to-one mapping. The PIX v6.3 code, due out in a month or two, is supposed ot have the ability to do this.

Well I guess I will need to wait till it will be launched
Thank you
(I was already planning on switching to checkpoint firewall which has this option in its service pack five)
