R stands for restricted and FO stands for Fail-over. Here is a link with some more information on the different bundled systems available:

hi ,
actually i did know that about R and FO my confusion is stemming from the fact that the Serial is showing BOTH .. and my understanding is UR will include FO .. so i am trying to understand what exact license do the pixes i have carry ?

Hi
Could it be possible that the pix was originally an R and it has had a new activation key applied to give it FO functionality also (without unrestricting the other features, i.e. max interfaces etc)
Cheers
