According to the datasheet at http://www.cisco.com/en/US/customer/products/hw/vpndevc/ps2030/products_data_sheet09186a0080091b15.html it supports 2,000 VPN tunnels. (Or is this for the version with a VAC?) This seems rather high. What is the real world experience?

As the number of connections increase, the performance decreases.
Again, it depends on the encryption type, RAM used etc.
