Checksum verification on compression loader failed.

Most probably the image got corrupted, you should perform a software image recovery using rommon.

I already tried that. I think I am having a hardware issue here. The flash might have gone bad. Unfortunately there is no smartnet on this unit since we thought about decommissioning it. I think its time to dump it all together in favor of an ASA unit.
