I have two sites using the 4.0.2 client and both of them are having realy bad lag time issues. One of them is running Great Plains localy with the ODBC mapped. And the other is running QuickBooks with the qbt. file mapped. Even when using the client at home I have lag when just browsing the network or typing an e-mail.
I think there is something wrong with compression or encryption but im not sure. I also read that there can be issues if Reverse DNS is not configured which it is not setup in this case.
Onsite I have full T-1 Access, the other locations vary in speed but non are less 1.5 down and 256 up.
Large access-lists can cause preformance issues. But this will depend on the pix model and hardware, network topology etc. You might see a preformance lag if there are many tunnels. In your case, it is only two. Check your configuation to rule out any unused services that might affect the performance.
We have configured the outside and inside Interface with official ipv6 adresses, set a default route on outside Interface to our router, we also have definied a rule , which also gets hits, to permit tcp from inside Interface to any6.
