Pix 6.0

Hi all,

As the new unified VPN client ( ver 3.0 ) doesn't work with pix version 5.3(1) and older, is there any date for releasing version 6.0 ? Then we don't have to purchase another vpn client for our Win 2000 clients .. If i'm right it should also support L2TP.

I haven’t heard that PIX 6.0 is going to work with the new VPN Client. I did hear that Cisco is still working on a VPN client for the PIX and IOS that is supposed to be released soon. Does anyone know of a release date?

I have been told by the TAC that the official date for release of the new unified client will be April 25th... Although the wording of his e-mail made it sound like it will be PIX software that will make the PIX work with the VPN 3.01 client. I guess we'll find out later next week!
