pix 6.2 and pptp with ras 2000 server

hi all

is it possible to configure pptp between a pix 6.2 and a ras server windows

2000 (not a nomade pc client)

cisco give the following conf for a client

sysopt connection permit-pptp

vpdn enable outside

vpdn group xx accept dialin pptp

vpdn group xx ppp authenticat ion chap

vpdn group xx ppp authenticat ion mschap

vpdn group xx client configuration address local pptp-pool

vpdn group xx client authent local

vpdn username foo password foo

but the ras server does'nt seem to accept the ip add nego

first :is there a way to specify the ip add of the ras 2000 server (and not

use a pool)?

second : what would be the hostname and password used by the pix for the ppp

authentication (what should i specify in the ras 2000 server user and

password)

a sample conf or a link will be very useful.

thanks.

Make sure you are granting permission for ICMP unreachable message type 3. Denying ICMP unreachable messages disables ICMP Path MTU discovery, which can halt IPSec and PPTP traffic.
