PIX 6.3.5 and DoS attacks

Hi,

Is it necessary to configure something or PIX 6.3.5 has default started protect against DoS attacks like SYN-flood ?

pix has some special features callled x guards running by default. Flood, frag, mail, and DNS. I think the flood guard can mitigate the danger of DoS.
