PIX 7.0 & VPN

IKE phase 2 error?

One of L2L connections is not working. getting the following error:

Apr 20 09:43:47 [IKEv1]: Group = x.x.x.x, IP = x.x.x.x,

Seems like it doesn't like the keying phase? Are you using a ipsec secret? Can you ping verify that the peer host can see you?

I am getting this exact error. I have a PIX 7.1 connecting l2l to a Pix 6.3 and if I ping from the PIX 7 it connects just fine, but once the tunnels go down I get that error when someone from the PIX 6.3 pings me. Have you been able to figure this out? (I am using no-xauth on the PIX 6.3 side) This problem started when I upgraded to PIX 7. No other changes were made and the VPN worked just fine when both were 6.3
