pix and multiple default routes

Have a pix with Internet connections on 2 different interfaces in two different subnets.

Would like to have a default route with metric 1 pointing to Internet router on one interface, and another default route with metric 2 pointing to Internet router on the other interface.

Can this be done? I know you can have multiple default routes pointing to different Internet routers on the same interface/subnet. I do not know enough about Pix routing capabilities to know if this can be accomplished.

Thanks to anyone who can help.

Re: pix and multiple default routes

Hi

you can fix as many routes as you want, but you must be carefully with metrics

You also must be very, very carefull with access-list and nat statements, because the default route flap, you need to apply different filters on different interfaces.

Roberto
