Could you tell me about PIX firewall have function inter-VLAN?

Recent pix os support 802.1q tagging. You need at least a 515 to use it though -it is not supported on the 501 or 506 models. Different models from 515 through 535 support different numbers of physical and virtual interfaces

From the documentation I see theres a limit of 10 VLAN on the PIX525. Are there a specific reason for this limit and are there plans for more VLAN:s in the future?

The restriction is based mostly on memory requirements needed for the various interfaces. We do plan to up these levels in future revisions of PIX code. I do not know the specifics yet but PIX 7.0 will have increased max virtual interfaces available.
