I need some help with my Pix501. I have made some changes to my configuration-file and i need some help to download it to my Pix501
Anyone who can tell me how to do? The Pix can only be reached through the blue cable and hyperterminal.

You have the config then, goto to hyperterm then access the PIX then just use "paste to host" to upload your config.

Hi,
Like Jeff said just copy and paste. However, if you changed you access-list and you did not used linenumbers within your access-lists you have to erase your access-lists before copying the new config in.

I'm a little bit of newbie in this world so I don't really know what you mean with access-list. How do I erase the old access-list?
