PIX file management

My PIX-515 is working properly and has these files:

Directory of flash:/

6 -rw- 1726 13:19:48 Apr 07 2006 downgrade.cfg

9 -rw- 1925176 13:20:16 Apr 07 2006 image_old.bin

12 -rw- 5437440 14:03:23 Apr 07 2006 pix704.bin

13 -rw- 5958324 15:46:03 Apr 07 2006 asdm-504.bin

15998976 bytes total (2664960 bytes free)

and the following settings:

boot system flash:/pix704.bin

asdm image flash:/asdm-504.bin

Question is:

Can I delete image_old.bin and downgrade.cfg ?

Should they be deleted because they are an older OS version and thus are no longer neccessary ?

I have no plan to return to 6.3 and I won't envision any circumstance to do so, am I right ?

Please advise.

Thanks.

Hello,

Yes you are correct you can delete both of those files. Since there not used and are only there to go back.
