PIX Firewall 515E - Password Recovery - Console Port Damaged

I have reset PIX firewalls passwords many times, howeve I have a delima. I have inherited a PIX firewall where the console port on the PIX is severly damaged (missing internal jack connectors/wires). PIX is not under warranty. PIX properly works...VPNs terminate on the PIX without a problem.

Is connecting to the console port the only method to reset the PIX enable password?

Is the AUX port an option?

I have never heard on password recovery on Cisco deviecs using the Aux port. I guess this is a secrity feature to prevent your devices being compromised remotely. As per my knowledge, getting the console port fixed is your only option.

I do not know of any way besides the console port to reset the password. Can the console port be fixed?
