pix firewall ios backup

i have a pix 515 running 7.0(4)

my question is can i back up this ios to a tftp server if so how ??

Hi Melvyn

Yes you can do this. Follow these steps

1) from enable mode do a "dir" on the pix. This should show you the image and it's location eg

Directory of disk0:/

5 -rw- 5437440 00:04:20 Jan 01 2003 asa704-k8.bin

1334 -rw- 5958324 10:20:06 Mar 03 2006 asdm-504.bin

62947328 bytes total (51515392 bytes free)

2) from enable mode

copy disk0:/asa704-k8.bin tftp://"tftp server address"
