Is it possible to connect a pix 515E with 3DES to a Contivity 1700 (Nortel)?

Did anyone tried to do it?

Hi,

If the Contivity 1700 supports the IKE and IPSec proposals and the kind of authentication method that you are using on the Pix, then you should not have any issues in establishing the IPSec tunnel.

Below is a sample URL for a IPSec tunnel between a Pix to Pix:

Can PIXs do Agressive Mode for IKE? I belive that Contivity boxes won't do Main Mode.

Did you get any replies on this.. I have just started testing the interop and have had no luck. I can get (so far) past phase I but cannot get past that to phase II. I am for now using ESP-DES, ESP-SHA-HMAC and DH Group 1. I am unfamiliar with the Nortel vpn so there is my biggest issue.
