Pix Logging Server

Hi,

I have configured syslog server on Pix.

Logging on

Logging host inside a.b.c.d

But I don't know where to check logs on the Host a.b.c.d.It's windows 2000 server.does I need to do any config and setting on Windows a.b.c.d server ??

Hi -

You'll need a syslog server setup on your W2K server so that PIX can send syslog messages to. Try here to get a free syslog server for W2K box:

Thanx a lot.It solved my problem.Apart from logging host command.You have to also issue logging trap command.
