Hi all,
I have very basic question related
to ACLs. Could someone explain me
when and where I can use advantage
of configuration ACLs in direction inside and outside in PIXOS 7.0.
Normaly it is possible in ver. 6.x
configure ACLs only in inside direction.
and let PIX work with ASA alg.
Another question is about ACLs enabling
and disabling new functionality. Where
could I use it.? Could someone explain me some examples.

So you're looking to create an ACL for internal users going outbound, and then an ACL that's applied to your outside interface restricting inbound access?

Hi Jason,
thanks for answer.
Sorry I still dont see advantage...
Users going from inside to outside ...you apply ACL
in (in) direction in inside interface.
Users going from outside to inside ..you apply ACL
in (in) direction in outside interface.
Any other suggestions !!!
