PIX + Syslog

Hello,

I run Private Eye and have syslog level debug enabled on PIX.

Problem: Due to accesslist on outside interface (deny any any) i get syslog entrys deny on backports for initiated from inside connections (higher ports)...thats okay so far ...but Private Eye shows me denied connections then...duh :))

How can i fix that...i wont permit higher ports (its a cosmetic question at all)

You can use the no logging message command on the pix to filter that particular message (by message id) but that’s all you can do on the PIX. http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/iaabu/pix/pix_v53/config/commands.htm#14282
