PIX to PIX IPSec VPN thru a NATted network

Hello

Can i run a PIX 501 to PIX 506 IPSec VPN thru a NATted network.

My ISP presents me with private IP addresses that are statically NAT'd to a public IP address t location A. At loctaion B I have standard Public IP address. Is an IPSec VPN possible, I know that 3000 concentrators can cope with NAT, can a PIX?

Re: PIX to PIX IPSec VPN thru a NATted network

Hi,

http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/707/vpn_pix_private.html

PIX can do that as well, as far as its static NAT(one to one, or many to many) over an ipsec tunnel.

Thanks,

Afaq

Now we can implement the IPSec through NAT function both in our IOS router ( "IPSec NAT Transparency" )

and PIX firewall ("VPN NAT Transparency"), the following is their URL:

IOS:

PIX OS:

Hi Jeffrey,

I'm really interested in the PIX VPN NAT Transparency, could you upload the link one more time, it's seems like it's not there anymore.

thanks in advance, look forward for your reply.
