PIX to PIX VPN

I have two sites with DSL access. I was wondering if I could put a PIX 501 at each end and create a VPN between the two sites. I expect that there will only be one tunnel between the sites and no other locations will be included in the network. Trying to create this VPN with the least cost.

The two 501's are less expensive than one router with IPSEC and firewall feature sets, which is very attractive.

That would be a great way to suit your VPN needs. Total 3DES VPN throughput is about .6 Mbps but since you are using DSL you’ll be in good shape. The only thing you might want to consider is scalability as you grow. But the 501 is a great box.
