PIX-to-Router ipsec with eigrp (gre tunnel?)

Greetings,

Does anyone had experience routing eigrp between a PIX-to-Router ipsec?

LAN-A - Rtr(cryp) -- VPN -- Pix(cryp) - Rtr - LAN-B

We are using PIX 6.0 and IOS 12.1.8

When pinging from a pc on LAN A to host on LAN-B, it gets reponse every now and then.

(whenever the PIX debug shows:

ISAKMP (0): SA is doing pre-shared key authentication using id type ID_IPV4_ADDR

return statusIKMP_NO_ERROR

But it fails the "ping" most of the time.

Any experience that is shareable?

thanks for any hints.

regards / Wayne.

Re: PIX-to-Router ipsec with eigrp (gre tunnel?)

In fact,

I get routing updates and was able to ping from the remote lan (where the vpn router is). But it only works with 5 or 6 ping's and drops all routing updates right the way. It last for 4 seconds or so every time. Whenever this happens, I get the following message:

ISAKMP (0): SA is doing pre-shared key authentication using id type ID_IPV4_ADDR

return statusIKMP_NO_ERROR

Is it a bug or is my config missing something?

thanks for any hints.

regards / Wayne.
