PIX VPDN PASSWORD Lockout

Is there a way to set the logon limit on the PIX so that if a VPDN or any user logs on with the wrong password 3 times it disconnects.

Re: PIX VPDN PASSWORD Lockout

Hi,

If you have an external AAA server, then you could do this, but not locally on the PIX.

Thanks,

Re: PIX VPDN PASSWORD Lockout

Hi,

You can turn on aaa locally, but still, I don't see a way how that will help you get the users' account get disabled (if that's what you meant by get disconnect) after 3 wrong attempts.

External aaa server like Cisco ACS server will do this.

Thanks,

yatin
