PIX- Write net command

I need to copy my flash files of pix into tftp.For that i hv used write net tftp add : filename

i hv got the o/p shows failed.what shd be the problem.I hv created one file in my tftp location.Say, my tftp path is : c:\programfiles\cisco\tftp\new file

what shd be the ext of the new file ..

One more thing ...unexpectedly I tried to open .bin, .pdm files in notepad.The format was changed.it was under tftp directory.how do i get back.

I see there’s no space in “programfiles” from your path. Your logging application might have trouble with that. See if you can use a shorter path without spaces at maybe “c:\ tftp\newfile” instead. On your other issue, you’ll probably have to restore those binary files if you accidentally corrupted them with a test editor.
