I just went through this very problem with a branch office.
They would need another device with a PPPoE client to connect to such as an ISP provided router. You will probably want to do NAT on the PIX, so you will need an additional IP address for the outside interface of the firewall.
I have been told that PPPoE capability is being added to the PIX in March 2002. If the client can wait, that would be the best way to go. Otherwise, you might consider using a 1710 security router, which has PPPoE support.
