I ran through the VPN Wizzard on the Pix Device Manager but I would like to know how to verify my connections are esablished and passing data.

Jason,
You can use the sh crypto isa sa command and the sh crypto ips sa.
sh crypto isa sa will tell you who has initiated a connection and what state it is in.
sh crypto ips sa will allow you to see encrypted packets and unencrypted packets and how much data has been passed through your vpn tunnel.
